FRANCE – Decarbonized Energy & Industry - A “Split Water Electrolysis” Technology
The start-up has developed an integrated breakthrough process to supply hydrogen directly under pressure, without mechanical compressor. First solutions (100 to 300 bar) are proposed for small to medium size applications: drones, labs, hydrogen genset, small fleets of hydrogen vehicles. With the same basic architecture, a scale-up is in progress which will lead to the design of a powerful electrolyser of 1 MW elementary unit, with a breakthrough “stack” easy to assemble and to maintain. It will address mobility & industry markets with new models of centralized/decentralized value chain for hydrogen supply.

USA - Cleantech/Energy – Renewable hydrogen from any organic material including waste streams
Joint venture of two US companies working to develop and commercialize technologies that produce clean renewable energy from waste.  Our patented, modular, scalable technologies produce pure hydrogen at costs rivaling those of large-scale hydrogen facilities but without releasing greenhouse gases (CO2, CO) that traditional hydrogen processes produce.  By using renewable feedstocks, this hydrogen is considered green (renewable) hydrogen that is in high demand in a growing market.

FRANCE – Cleantech/Energy – Liquid hydrogen carrier
The SME has developed a silicon-based molecule able to carry hydrogen at standard conditions. This solution is easy to transport and store during long periods of time with no loss of hydrogen. In addition, is carries 7 times more hydrogen in it than conventionnel compressed gas at 200 bars. As non-organic, it also contributes to reduce the carbon print and the processes of charging and releasing hydrogen are conceived to use renewable energies. After proving the concept at small scale, the SME is through a two-year development plan to prove the concept at industrial scale.

GERMANY - Cleantech/Transportation - Conversion of conventional engines to hydrogen
With a cumulative experience of over 30 years in hydrogen a team of former BMW and MAN engineers developed a modular and highly scalable concept to convert conventional combustion engines to zero-emission hydrogen engines. With existing production infrastructures worldwide, the product has a faster time to market than any other alternative propulsion technology. A TCO on diesel parity allows end-users to continue their existing business models. In 2021 the solution will be installed into heavy-duty demonstrator vehicles within three different projects funded by the EIC, the Bavarian, as well as the German government, respectively.
